You
can sense a very deliberate nature from listening to this
record. Listen to it over and over again, and you start
really feeling the ins and outs of it. It’s pretty damn good.
There is actually a depth in the music. Just listen deeply
into the songs. It’s not the lyrics. It’s like the mirror
effect, when you have two of them facing each other and can
seemingly see forever. It’s that kind of depth. I do hear
some very recognizable styles of Palo Alto and even older
U2 but crossing into modern tones and songwriting.
It
grows on you. However, when an album starts out good, where
can it go? Better! You can picture yourself in just
about any situation listening to this album. I would even
lean to call it beautiful. Very smooth melodies; I can tell
the mix is very appropriate. I can sense it may have had
a life of it’s own while writing this album. Very
flowing, well put together, definitely thought out. Gotta
hear ‘em!
