Johnny
Miles is a solo act, a singer/songwriter armed with his
lyrics, vocals, and acoustic guitar—oh, and an
electric guitar, harmonica, piano, and bass at times, for
good measure. His songs are dripping in folk roots, and his
fresh vocals and smart lyrics are welcome. The pace of these
songs shifts accordingly; up-tempo tracks are often followed
by more somber tunes.
For
listeners who enjoy good folk music (or those who want
a folk CD or two for their music collection), you might
want to pickup this debut from Johnny Miles. Awakening
could be an apt title for rock & pop fans that are considering
