Though she hails from Hawaii, Preeta has spent a good deal of time in the LA music scene and it shows: the singer/songwriter’s good vibey sound is well honed and crafted in her latest album, In This Moment. The album’s ten tracks feature Preeta’s lilting voice over a broader range of musical stylings than one might expect, including reggae beats and rock rhythms with a bit of an edge. Still, each of these songs is immediately accessible.

From the opener “Another’s World” to the closing track, “Sacred”, the album delights with catchy, engaging material. In This Moment is a strong, full-length debut, and hopefully an indicator of many good things to come from Preeta.
