Stereo Fuse lives up to their name on their album All
That Remains, although blown stereo fuses might need
replacing if you’re not careful with the volume
dial. The intensity level fluctuates, but songs
like the opening “Run and Hide” grind heavy
metal axes and produce thunderous rhythms from the first
note.
Taken individually, the songs are pretty strong. Colin
Hill has a strong set of pipes, which he wields judiciously,
and the musicianship of his bandmates is solid. The
songs are quite derivative, however, and as the album progresses,
they resemble a rubber-stamped form of grunge pop.
