Stigma, from Brazil, is making a very good
attempt at creating a radio friendly sound, similar to the
female-singer rock bands around. As songwriting has stereotypically
been formatted the same for as long as we can all remember,
you will find a very traditional rock sound and structure
in this album.
From a production standpoint, I have to mention, it did
not give Pro Tools a good name. The mastering quality is
distorted and makes it difficult to enjoy the album in even
a semi-critical listening environment. The overall sound
of the band and album somewhat redeemed itself in the last
song. They did something right.

Erik
Beyer is a trained musician, performer, songwriter, arranger,
and self-taught businessman. After spending five years
in the Army Band he moved back to Portland, OR and began
designing sound systems and marketing pro audio gear.
He later was hired to book for a local Portland venue,
putting bands on stage seven nights a week where he reviewed
all CDs submitted. In 1998 he formed Beyer Sound Productions
with a goal to serve musicians.
