Right away, the very powerful and roomy sounding
drums took me. This is a good thing, by the way. I like the
energy right away. For a small instrumentation, they have
created a big sound. Transit Belle has an album here that
represents a large population of musicians in their sound
and songwriting, with the almost Cobain style vocals.
Unfortunately, I can’t put my finger on the style or genre,
but I can say I wish it would catch on outside of just our
local club scenes. I can imagine that the next album from
these guys will be just as good, and better. Musically, they
have a lot going for them, and I can say, that based on their
sound, and my experience with bands live, I would definitely
like Transit Belle live.
