This duo has really found a powerful sound.
Rock mixed with electronica, touching industrial, and lead
by a strong female vocal. The programming and arrangements
are very strong and well done. The album art is very simple,
creative, and dark. I would really like to see what they
do live. Unfinished Thought has found a unique sound and
delivered it well on this album.
I could hear some of these tracks being used on film soundtracks.
There is really a mood set well. From an engineering standpoint,
I would have mixed the vocals closer to the front of the
listening image, parallel with the guitars, just so her vocals
are more “in your face” and aggressive, suiting the overall
style of the album. Definitely take a listen to Unfinished
Thought; I know you won’t be disappointed.
