About: |
"Taking
influence from everything from The 1960's Brit-Rock,
Chicago/Delta Blues, Motown, Country, jazz,Soul and
R&B to Funk, Mellow Down Easy has created a sound
all of their own. From catchy hooks and melodies and
guitar-driven punch to laid back bluesy jams and Soulful
grooves, Mellow Down Easy seems to have no musical
boundries standing in their way. Live, Mellow Down
Easy is highly regarded for their sometimes lengthy
improv-jams, (a`la CREAM and The Hendrix Exp.) the
band doesn't think twice to take a three minute song
and turn it into a 13 minute climactic-groove-fest.
Mellow Down Easy echos a somewhat familiar sound of
the past, with a new twist for the future. Rock-n-Roll
is far from over in the world of Mellow Down Easy!"
